The most famous Dogue de Bordeaux
I bet everybody has seen one of the best films about the friendship and co-operation of a dog and a man. Turner & Hooch was released in 1989, four months after the film K-9, but quickly became even more popular, even if the two films have a relatively similar plot.
In this film Scott Turner (Tom Hanks) acquires Hooch, the big and drooling Dogue de Bordeaux dog after his friend, the local junk-yard owner gets killed. With the help of Hooch, he starts to investigate the crime. Turner brings the dog home, and suddenly realises that the dog not only destroyed his house, but turned his life entirely upside down. Finally, through many dangers and funny situations they are able to solve the case.
With the help of this film we are able to see how powerful and muscular, yet friendly and helpful the Dogue de Bordeaux breed is.
